Nothing to Fear is the brand new release from Number.

The song features the vocals of Louisa Gerstein and Heloise Tunstall-Behrens from the band Landscapes, next-door neighbours of Ali’s in Hackney. The pair sing with their beautifully distinctive, soulful and effortless vocal harmonies and bring the track a pang of 80’s new wave – think The Slits and Tina Weymouth.

Ali Friend’s and Rich Thair’s bass and beats are right on it as always, while the percussive elements make the track very much from 2019.

Already picked up on by Gilles Peterson, Nothing to Fear is another exciting and unique sound from Number who dare to look forward.
